Dear Fellow Residents of Luceti,

Wouldn't it be entertaining to put on some Games here in Luceti? Not that the Cultural Fair wasn't amusing, or any of the other activities going on here -- but true gladiatorial games. The pitting of one creature against another! Think of the thrill and drama and the release that goes along with that sort of entertainment! And here in Luceti we are ideally suited for a very exciting Games indeed.

Who would you sponsor or volunteer for this entertainment? Or would it all be...

[There is a pause here.]

Pokey-mans? I find human beings MUCH more interesting to watch, personally.

"Does that mean you'll be going on a mission, Miss Trinkett?" Jack remembered a time when one could simply ask for things from Bil and receive them. That time had passed and now Jack was doing his duty. He would extend his help in procuring a dog, but he was saving up for a television.

[Effie follows, suddenly feeling VERY unsure of herself. The last time she was in here had been with Derek, and he'd fought vampires. What would this room hold?]

[Her words were much braver than her heart, or her stomach.]

But the ideal is generally to live to a ripe old age and die in your sleep, not get slaughtered while people take bets on your survival.

[There go the arms -- folded across her chest, again. Except this time it's more self-protective than stern.]

[Effie backs toward what used to be the door. Now, though, it's obscured in the holographic effects of the Dome.]

Moisturizing, for one; applying a light cream or lotion to the facial skin in order to protect it from the elements!

Yeah, if that's what you want to call him. Spirits of the dead. Get a vengeful one stuck around, one that feels like it's been wronged, one that has suffered, and it's... horrible.

[ She doesn't sound like she really cares, though. Apparently the threat of not being beautiful doesn't hold much sway with her. ]

I don't think it really matters either way though. If I get wrinkly when I'm older, won't that just be because I'm older?
