I happen to believe that sometimes a few must be hurt for the good of the whole. I think that's sensible. Not everyone can be safe ALL the time.

[ sigh. ] Maybe humans are harder to understand than I thought.

If it helps, I think unicorns FRIGHTFULLY difficult to understand! [She says this in a very consoling tone of voice.] For example, how do you exist at all?!

The same way humans exist. [ She waves a hoof dismissively. ] There's always been unicorns in Equestria, as long as there have been earth ponies and pegasi. That's not really the same thing, though. You all just hurt each other so much!

I've heard you can be hunted for your magical horns?

[Maybe Katniss will hunt one for her. A magical horn would make an excellent addition to the living room. It would look striking beside Sharpe's Eagle.]

I WILL, I WILL, dear unicorn! I don't hunt unicorns for horns! It's only something I've HEARD of.

They're meant to have powers to restore youth, are they not?

I can't do an age spell, it's too powerful even for me. But I definitely couldn't do it without my horn. A magic doesn't just come from a unicorn's horn, it comes from deeper inside them than that.
