Fourth Dispatch: It's Not What You Think. Voice.
Dear Fellow Residents of Luceti,
Wouldn't it be entertaining to put on some Games here in Luceti? Not that the Cultural Fair wasn't amusing, or any of the other activities going on here -- but true gladiatorial games. The pitting of one creature against another! Think of the thrill and drama and the release that goes along with that sort of entertainment! And here in Luceti we are ideally suited for a very exciting Games indeed.
Who would you sponsor or volunteer for this entertainment? Or would it all be...
[There is a pause here.]
Pokey-mans? I find human beings MUCH more interesting to watch, personally.

It is a pleasure to meet someone who can reason. May I ask what your occupation is?
[Private]
Back home I'm a doctor and a captain.
[Pirate captain, but since he didn't mention the pirate part (and he won't deny it; he just doesn't go shouting it off the rooftops), Effie is free to assume a military man of some sort.]
[Private]
Oh! A doctor! [Her mother would be so PLEASED about that!] AND a captain? That's quite a career! I'm impressed.
[Private]
Thank you. I've worked very hard to get as far as I have.
[... like he should be apologizing to Itachi in advance.]
[Private]
I suppose one MUST, to have earned TWO distinguished titles, Captain Law!
Or is it DOCTOR Law!
[/cue "Jaws" theme]
[Private]
... and hinting it's high time for him to propose already.]
... if it's something to do with a medical matter, it's better to address me as Doctor Law. If it's something to do with combat or seacraft, it's better to address me as Captain.
I'm not fussy about titles. [Unlike some he's met.] If you want to, you can go ahead and call me just Law.

[Private]
He nods.]
I do. I imagine you take care to keep yourself well. [Maybe not enough though...] I hope I won't encounter you in the clinic either. At least as a patient, anyway.
[Private]
I don't have any healing skills, I fear. But I'll do my best to stay happy and healthy!
[Private]
That's good to hear. It was nice speaking to you, Miss Effie. I've got to get back to the job.
[Paperwork beckons once more.]
[Private]
[You sexy thing, you.]
