Dear Fellow Residents of Luceti,

Wouldn't it be entertaining to put on some Games here in Luceti? Not that the Cultural Fair wasn't amusing, or any of the other activities going on here -- but true gladiatorial games. The pitting of one creature against another! Think of the thrill and drama and the release that goes along with that sort of entertainment! And here in Luceti we are ideally suited for a very exciting Games indeed.

Who would you sponsor or volunteer for this entertainment? Or would it all be...

[There is a pause here.]

Pokey-mans? I find human beings MUCH more interesting to watch, personally.

[Those seemed to be things people did when they wanted to honor the fallen.]

A.. ah, right.

[ She moves to sit straight and all, it should at least be an honorable moment of silence.. she even closes her eyes and she's actually silent after the woman suggests it. She's probably even holding her breath so she can be as quiet as possible. ]

[Effie, too, is silent, wondering how the sport of football could possibly be replicated in a place like Luceti.]

Do you think that was long enough? There's a lot of people to pay respect to, so maybe it should be even longer.. but then maybe we'll never talk again.

I think we've done everything in our power to do for them. I don't wish to stop speaking to you forever, dear.

[This girl. Whew. Effie has a long hard project ahead.]

Do you think you'd like to be a "cheerleader"?

"Cheerleader"..? [ She repeats the word slowly, as if she's trying to look up the word in her head to see what it means. Apparently she did read about it, since recognition crawls into her tone. ]

I've never done anything like that before. But if it'll make people happy, then.. I wouldn't mind. I'd train really, really hard.

I think you'd be perfect for it. I'll put word out, shall I? Luceti needs cheerleaders!

I'll make sure to study up on all of it, for sure..! [ At least she's already getting into it. ] I'll try to be the very best cheerleader I can be.
